Our
Process
We follow standardized Software Development Lifecycle
(SDLC) models, to assure that the developed software is reliable, scalable, extendable,
and competent. OPENSCOPE adopts various development models,
ranging from the traditional Waterfall model to more rapid, iterative, and interactive
approaches such as extreme programming (XP). We choose the model that best fits
out clients’ requirements enabling them to drive maximum benefit from the
engagement.
The waterfall model is a sequential software development
process, in which progress is seen as flowing steadily downwards (like a waterfall)
through the phases of Conception, Initiation, Analysis, Design (validation), Construction,
Testing and maintenance.
The Rational Unified Process (RUP) is an iterative
software development process framework created by the Rational Software Corporation,
a division of IBM. RUP is an adaptable process framework, intended to be tailored
by the development organizations and software project teams.
Agile software development refers to a group of software
development methodologies based on iterative development, where requirements and
solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional
teams. Agile methods generally promote a disciplined project management process
that encourages frequent inspection and adaptation, a leadership philosophy that
encourages teamwork, self-organization and accountability. |
